Real talk: if you think you can slide into my inbox 2 months before your wedding and magically have Save the Dates, Invites, AND a seating chart ready to roll… whew. That’s a hard no. Let’s break down when to book your wedding design services.🙅♀️
01 Save the Dates
02 Invitations
03 Day of Items
04 Big Picture
📅 Book no later than 9 months out
🌟 Power move: book a year ahead
Why? Because Save the Dates are the first alert guests get to your wedding! Guests need that 6-month heads-up so they don’t double-book your wedding with their cousin’s destination bachelorette in Cabo.
📅 Book no later than 6 months before your wedding
Okay, this is where the internet lies to you. Some blogs will say, “Mail your invites 6 weeks out!” …which is about as outdated as a flip phone. 📟
Here’s the truth: USPS is not winning any speed races. To avoid mailing chaos, you want those beauties in the mail 8–12 weeks out. That timeline means we need to lock in your design spot 6 months in advance so everything has time to print, ship, and land in your hands without panic.
📅 Book no later than 3 months out
✅ Final info due: 40 days before your wedding
Your RSVP date should hit 45 days before your wedding. That gives you a 5-day grace period to finalize your guest list and send me all the deets (menus, seating charts, signage, place cards… all the things).
Book early. Like, earlier than you think. My design calendar fills faster than an espresso martini at cocktail hour. Even if you don’t know every detail yet, securing your spot means I’ll guide you through the process so your wedding branding flows seamlessly from Save the Dates to the “last call” signage at midnight.
Because your wedding deserves more than “good enough”—it deserves a curated, bold, that’s-so-us stationery story your guests will still be talking about when they’re hungover the next morning. 🥂
Once you’ve selected the package that feels right, you can sign your contract and pay your 50% retainer to officially book—all within the interactive proposal. No extra emails, no clunky steps. Just smooth, seamless, let’s-get-this-party-started energy.
